There's more to come - I planted two pots of pink Anemone blanda and two little pink Aubrieta plants at the edge! it's not all pink, though. The small tree is a white Hibiscus and there's a Sorbaria in there too. Two patio roses as well.

Jane being a Barnsley lass had to plant hibiscus of the same name.
More Clematis ? any wonder always ask you about them - you must nearly have national collection can just picture what your garden will look like when open for NGS , sure it will be beautiful. Its been stunning through the winter and really impressed by the colours you ve acheived throughout these difficult conditions.

That's 'Magic Marlot', Angie. I got one last autumn and planted it in a pot - then I got this one for my new bed because I liked it so much. Hywel got one, and he likes his, too.

Thank you, BB - the two Clematis are small plants I bought as little ones, to grow on. They are called 'Early Sensation' and they are evergreen. I had one last year, at the back of my wide border - it was beautiful, but in the summer it got vandalised by a rabbit and it is only just hanging on in there. I thought that these two would look great to hide 'that fence' - but I shall have to choose my moment to ask if I can grow my Clematis up the wires. If not, I shall get a small trellis and they can climb on that.
