Its a very attractive shape. Have you rhubard under it? My elderly neighbour used a bucket but this is much nicer to look at.

Lovely.

Yes Gee.....the rhubarb is just popping up and takes a lot of space normally....so this will keep it growing in a small space too!

Good purchase :o)

Is that a buddleia in the foreground? Well forward if it is. We grow our rhubarb in one of those flexi plastic tubs with handles. Have got several tubs in different sizes and colours - they are so useful. Never tried forcing - does it bring the season forward?

Love your Pot, even if there wasn't Rhubarb under it, It looks Great...

Yes Magtree....haven't got round to pruning them yet. Think I may move this Buddleia back nearer the wall to give me more room in front. I have only one root of rhubarb and the pot fits nicely over it......yes it brings it forward by about a month....and the stems will be slender and pink. Once the leaves reach the top of the pot..I shall take the lid off.
You must have a great selection of rhubarb Magtree with several tubs....do you sell it?

Thanks Daisydee......Ian thought it was a bit of a waste of money to use for a couple of months, but it looks great anyway...and I could take the lid off later and put a pot in the top :o).....ah men , amen!

Yes me too Amy....this was the smallest...the largest was about 3ft tall, and expensive....who would want rhubarb that long??

I don't grow Rhubarb but i've seen these terracotta forcing pots in the garden centre recently and I was absolutely amazed how expensive they were, but very attractive though!

Why Not? It's only money, afterall. There are a lot worse things you could have spent it on.
