Mini - Narcissi.

These are only about 5" tall. I planted them under the Horse Chestnut tree by the gate so that they can be seen at head-height in the area which is built up.

Sometimes it's a good idea to do that because they face down and you can't see them properly.

I like them because the wind dosn,t snap the stalks as much as they do the long ones ........

Yes, Janey. I can't reach this area - it's on top of a wall and under the horse chestnut tree. If I climbed up steps, I wouldn't be able to stand up because of the branches - so it has to stay as it is, with self-sown plants like Arum, Helleborus foetidus and lots of Cyclamen hederifolium which have spread - thank goodness!
I managed to lean over and plant the Narcissi along the edge - with difficulty!
