I would love to have a rose like this...

Yes thanks all - it is a stunner. My son spotted it in a florist shop and thought I'd appreciate it. I know the shop that sells this has only just started stocking these striped roses because the lady who sold it apparently went on and on and on and on (his words!) about how popular these have been and he vaguely remembers her calling it 'grandiflora red and white stripes'!!!! (not sure he's got it right).
No it doesn't have much of a perfume.

LOL...now we will all be on the look out for it for our gardens..lol..thanks Bernieh...and thanks for asking your son... :) Sweet of him to bring his mom a special rose...are you going to hang it upside down and dry it? I would ...lol..

Benieh:
What variety is this rose? I never seen this variety before.

Hi Delonix1 I'm afraid I don't know - I'm not a rose person. My son assures me the florist said it's called grandiflora red and white stripes - but I'm waiting for someone to recognise it on GOY. I might have to post it again for the rose growers.

Bernieh:
I'm not a rose-grower either...however, I love the flowers, and this is a beautiful variety.
