I have been trying to get a photo of a squirrel in the garden for ages but never manage to! Today, we went to the zoo and this wild squirrel ran accross the fence in front of me ;o)

We had red squirrels on the Isle of Wight where we used to live. They are rather special and this country ought to be growing more of the native trees in their forests to accomodate the red squirrel. The grey has taken over too much and I think it bought in a disease that the red catches.
