Layered from one of my established trees in 2003
potted it up today 2009 , it,s taken 6yrs . to reach this size !
a long time .. but it is a free one !!

Well done Amy - one of my favourite trees , never had the space to grow one but then if started like you it would take a few years to get so big - so maybe been missing out .

I haven,t been that patient , I tried to dig it up last spring and wasn,t sure if it had rooted enough so I buried it again putting the brick back on top holding it in place ... LOL ...
