Verbena Bonariensis

Oh these look nice and healthy.

love these plants, grew some from seed last year and they looked very pretty in the borders but no sign as yet this year.

My Vb lasted only one summer, yet some growers say they are easy and keep coming up year after year.
Is there some treatment they require to keep going ?

I love veberna, I was quite disappointed to get Lavatera seeds in the AG this week instead of the veberna.......Just my luck

They look really healthy Amy....I have one which I put in two years ago and it came again last year but so far nothing this year....maybe the cold Winter killed it TT.

Mine was killed the previous winter which was milder.
I might just have another try.

Oh some sad storys there , I think I might cover these in the winter to help to save them .. I have one in the garden that has survived this last winter perhaps it was a bit more sheltered .........

Mine have survived for several years. Hopefully they will pop up again this year, fingers crossed. One of my favourites.

Oh thats a shame Janey ... so it seems that the frost does catch them , maybe it depends on how sheltered they are , you would think that with your lovely walls they would have some protection .... I will have to think about covering mine in the winter !

Ah..ha Amy, checked yesterday.....and little green shoots emerging.............:o)
