I too have one of these. It gets bigger every year and like yours it is in full bloom now.

Mine has lots of buds but are very slow to develop.

Mine is actually planted under the Oak tree, so I think it survives there because the Oak hasnt got its leaves yet, but it does seem to do very well.......

I've just stolen some cuttings of this from one that grows by an old signal box near here. lol. I hope it catches - it has flowers on it.
