Spring for the Mini

Spring for the Mini (Saintpaulia ionantha)

So many tiny buds showing some pink and the first is just opening its petals. Such a show this puts on.
(Oh gosh, don't look at my window !!!)

What window? :)

The show the plant is putting on actually made the window invisible; that is until you pointed it out!! lol

Thank you all. I am so excited for this to start up. Its one of my treasures. It has really taken to this new pot I put it in last fall. Last summer it almost doubled size as it bloomed. I had to mention the window, before someone else did. Not quite warm enough yet for window cleaning.....lol.

Oh these are lovely little beauties! great that you did a group planting like that... I had mine all together, too... decided for safety I'd put a few in their own pots...they blossom and blossom! As to the windows..lol...we have all been there...in fact I'm waiting for warmer weather too...

This is one six year old mini violet Lori. I just get it wider pots as it pours over the sides. Mini' don't seem to suffer loss of bloom by letting them spread. It has branched out to about 12 different tops. It will bloom all summer long.
