Wasps in the shed , these in the greenhouse - kinda guarantees privacy doesnt it ..lol Aw and look at the ads - like you d want rid of them !

I'm surprised Jacque as you obviously have a keen eye for nature.
Not to sure to which ads you refer Bonkers, but whatever they are, if they suggest getting rid of our friends then those who advocate that policy should have a serious look at themselves. These are beautiful little helpers.

Good for you, Toto! Glad I'm not the only spider fosterer around...just imagine all those little guys growing up munching on aphids and whitefly!! Ain't nature wonderful!? They are over here too, Jacque.. I saw a nest of these in a greenhouse full of perennials last spring. Maybe they are sold by the thousands for pest control... I know you can buy ladybugs...(i think you call them ladybirds)

There are two of these litte nests in my greenhouse and one in the shed with the wasps nest so together with the slow-worms in the compost bin I should have a few helpers this year.

LOL! That's brilliant Toto! the price of a true Eden is the sum of it's flora and fauna. got newts? frogs? toads? I've been working on increasing the number of amphibians in my garden. Had a lovely female toad who trilled all night long...(two seasons ago) when I changed the pond last season she didn't come back! alas. But I still see her progeny lurking in shady corners! No insecticides in my garden, no sir!

Sounds lovely Lori. May your garden continue to prosper and be a haven for wildlife.
