Who Is Christopher Lloyd Mageth?........Is he a gardening man I haven't heard of? I like the purple and orangy/red really, they remind me of paint box colours.

Christopher Lloyd was a garden writer, whos garden was at Great Dixter in East Sussex. he loved bright colours and unusual combinations. The garden is open to the public

for a general read - he used to write a gardening column in the Guardian and this has articles selected over the years for each month of the year - aw one reviewer put it 'witty, cutting, wise'.
I've got The Well-Tempered Garden as well, very informative and always well written and interesting.'

Orange and purple are opposites on the color wheel and are an excellent combination, much like blue and yellow you see alot of together.
