yes this one was a real find, not seen them again before or since. can't even find reference to this variety in any of my books

How tall does it grow?

i got one like this but it it not that tall. but i love the colour.

I don't know Gardengnome - the other vareities i have don't usually get even this big, so your guess is as good as mine. Have you Sandra - do you know the variety name?

Nope. Not sure what I'd do with them - I don't have a patio or anything.

i have some of the blue ones that flower orange/yellow/pink - they really are amazing - can send you one if you like and i am sure you will find a space for him! ;-) once you have them you will fall in love with them. they can go in the bed but need protection in the winter, but i usually just take off the side shoots from any in beds and pot them up instead, they are so easy to propergate. i have also seen them grown as house or conservitory plants so lots of options
