looks so peaceful. I could right jump into the water..... and then summer is on.

Strong undercurrents here Nelke, the estuary flows out to the North Sea...you wouldn't want to jump in here......:o(

It was a very pretty but chilly evening lemondog...great place to walk and take your doggie...if you have one....:o) Not too far from here are bird hides and marshes....where you can watch the water birds flying in and nesting.......

Hi Gwen...there are really strong currents here, rushing in up the Humber from the North Sea, past Grimsby on the South bank, Kingston upon Hull on the North bank till they reach the rivers....Ouse and Trent...a really busy shipping area and very important for industry though quieter now. In years gone by there would be barges and sailing vessels with masts and white sails and smaller local ones with red and brown all jostling for their positions on the river...........:o)
