As soft southerner the word ' Humber' conjurs up a grim industrial wasteland. Obviously not your bit if Humber, or is it a different one?

The same old Humber Volunteer.........like anywhere there are good parts and not so good. We were only saying the other day....Humber and Hull are ugly sounding names...... Hull is really a small river and the city is really named Kingston upon Hull which is more attractive. We're on the South Bank and you can see on my more recent pics....the Humber Bridge which is a great feat of engineering and on a sunny day....beautiful!

Never thought of water reeds flowering. They were lovely and feathery.
