Thanks TT these are just a fabulous thing to see - they only visit us once every year around this time of the year. There was a flock of them down the road just sitting on the power lines - a beautiful sight!

Yes we do TT. We get visits from our native budgie - its a bright green and yellow fellow with a long jade green tail. It's a beauty too but I haven't seen any for a while.

Please post photos on GoY if you do get budgies on camera.
I would love to see those in the wild..
I've always owned pet budgies...

Lovely shot, Bermieh, I thought it was a wild budgie for a moment. Love to see them in the wild. My father used to keep many at home & my wife & I have had several. I love budgies & my father bought me one once while I was still a boy.

We do get wild budgies as well Balcony - our own native budgie. It's a beautiful little green and yellow thing - haven't seen it for a while. I'll have to look out for them.
