I think it's hit 50 now, Pp. I am trying to keep a chart with photos to keep a check on them all. The trouble is that there are quite a few pink ones which I can't identify...they were already here. I may be asking for help when they flower!

Some flower colours simply don't come out right, no matter what time of day...like Saponaria ('Tumbling Ted'). I noticed that yours were pale in your photo, Angie, I bet they are really a pretty pink! I can't capture the colour! Strange. :-(

Yes your right, they look much better in a distance shot of the whole clump rather than a close up of the flower,,,i just can't seem to get one i have tried several times, like you say different times of day, but it just never seems to do them justice. they are so pretty arn't they, would be nice to catch the detail.

I can't do it. I suppose it needs a posh camera or something!
