I have already got this one, but I decided to get another one, as I like it so much!

This is a beautiful viola - such delicate colouring.

I have this one (two now!) and 'Rebecca' which is similar. I love them both! They do have a scent if you get right down to them...

I can see why you think so much of it Spritz. It is gorgeous.

They are perennials, Toto - all the better!

And even when they don't come back the following year, there always seem to be seedlings. Lovely.

Pretty............

That's gone straight to my favourites.

Thanks - why don't you try to find a plant, as well?? Even better in your garden!! lol.

Lovely..., I love them because they bloom all the way through to Autumn. Hard to beat that !

Definitely! What is known over here as a 'good doer' lol.

I thought this was Rebecca, they are so similar, must get these again.

Yes, they are very alike, I agree.

I looked in the dreaded garden centre (Notcutts) on Sunday and they only had Rebecca - frizzling up from lack of water. The whole place was like it, they must have cut back on staff so much no watering was being done at all. So many plants were suffering - they were still trying to charge top prices though. I left with my hands in my pockets.

I bet with despair in your heart, as well! I always feel like picking up the hose and watering the poor plants myself if I see that kind of cruelty! GRRRR!!!!!

i actually tell the staff that they need to get out there and make the point of saying that it has lost them a sale. nicely of course as it is not always the people on the 'shop floor' that are to blame.

But SOMEBODY at each GC must surely be in charge of watering?
Wagger is so right - they lost sales there. They must lose lots of sales if the plants die or look half-dead...

i have also been cheecky enough to offer 50p for a very wilted geranium renardii and i got it :o)
I often thought i'd like to work in one but i dont think i could cope with the wastage.

i thought that, too...if I hadn't gone into teaching, I'd have liked to work in a Nursery. Not a GC, though.
Well done on the Geranium! I may well try that...:-)

There were no staff to tell, Seaburngirl - only at the checkout. I did think about making an offer on a marked down Agave Americana but they were just bits of kids on the till so doubt if they would be allowed th make a decision.

NOT a good example of a GC, then!
