Very beautiful flower. I have two of them. A blue and a pink. They have never bloomed and I've had them for four years. The problem is that the type that I have bloom off the old wood from the previous years growth. Our winters are so severe that the previous year's growth dies so they always grow back from the ground. I haven't returned to the nursery where I purchased them because of being very annoyed with them for selling bushes that are not suitable for my growing zone. They were not cheap. One is variegated and the other is solid green so at least I end up with a couple nice looking bushes.

That is so annoying Mike , we have the same problem with not having trained staff to tell you what is suitable or not , some plant pots haven,t any instructions on at all :o(

Well you can be sure that since then I don't buy anything unless it says Northern Grown on the tag.

This is a nice one Amy. I have one which looks like yours but flatter. I must have another good look at mine.
