At last they are beginning to flower!

Oh Sandra - I lost so many of them! They were right along my drystone walls and along the front path edge as well. I should say I lost 75% of them. I have planted some new ones, but I had to cut out lots of dead bits. It was awful.

Not only that, but I went and bought the wrong sort as replacements! Then I realised that they are called Erigeron glauca and had to get more! It isn't the same without them around everywhere, though.

you can take some cuttings later in the year. they will soon be little plants. i havent seen glauca. i just googled, is it taller?

No, E. glauca is the flatter one, with grey-green leaves.. I bought ones with names like E. 'Pink Jewel' and another one I forget... and they have come up twice as tall. How do you take cuttings, please?

Thanks - I'll give it a go. I do dead head them. One of the new ones has opened today, I am about to post a photo. It has no yellow centre like E. glauca.

i always try to dead head everything as i think the plant recovers better from flowering.
