Interesting that this has almost the same colouring as our Clematis "Josephine".
At the show, I did manage to buy bulbs of oriental lily "Cobra" and "Montezuma". With a planting to flowering period of 10-12 weeks, there is just time to get these in. We do have a couple of "themes within a theme" going on. The "Cobra" lily will fit in nicely with the "Indian Prince's Chocolate Palace" - i.e. my sunlounger area - and, well, Montezuma was the Aztec emperor who loved his chilli-laced chocolate drink, and was responsible for the introduction of chillis and chocolate (my favourite combo) to Europe, via the Spaniards' search for El Dorado - just the "golden" ticket for our garden!
