Good morning Greenthumb. This is lovely.
Everytime I look at your garden pictures it makes me respect nature even more. Looking back at how your garden look like in winter, when almost everything have to come in or sheltered, then comes spring/summer everything's growing again. It is just amazing!

Ah, summer. :-) Thanks for the comments. I'm glad to share. I am always amazed when summer is as full as now. Like winter becomes a dream that you don't want to think about. We've got solid extremes here. I've been collecting the wild plants and flowers I know and looking closely, I'm more and more amazed what does just come back to life.

Love these - and love the nice rose hips they form as well.

They do have a nice hip. They're awfully prickly or I'd move some closer. Theres enough nearby to collect from.

Those roses look wonderful! There are plenty of roses in flower around here & I've take a few pictures of them this year. The Dog Rose flowers & produces hips abundantly every year, with this year being no exception!

solstice for me means going to the glastonbury festival. its on the weekend closest. we miss the actual solstice this year but will celerate it at home first and then again at the festival. ;-))

Yes they are beautiful, we also have them growing profusely down the Bridle Path where we take Polly for her walks!

Thanks for commenting. We have a whole lot of this one. I don't see many others really. in pots for the summer I've seen a few. All imports.

I love having them around for sure.
