Thank you Clarice, Gee and Wagger. Fortunately these flowers seem to last a little longer than many cactus flowers. These particular ones have been in flower for 3 days now and there are a number of buds still to open.

If you can't find the name maybe just a pic of the cactus itself. Thanks. I've never seen a flower like this on a cactus before, it's very nice.
