Beautiful colour armour
9 Jun, 2009
I've not heard it called that Bonkers and my reference book doesn't give any hint that that it is the common name but it may be.
Yes it is a nice colour Milky. Don't forget it is in Essex so probably thinks it needs armour especially if it's going anywhere near a certain person who has a vicious streak and who shall remain nameless.

Oh thought thats how it got the name soldier fly due to the armour but then ours in Yorkshire have boots helmets and spurs so could be quite different ..

I suppose they have a white rose as their emblem too. Anyway they don't have golden armour in Yorkshire, they have rusty armour due to the rain you get.

Aw well no rain here since last week so got them sprayed with WD40 to march on Essex !

Thanks Janey.
We mus have had your rain here then. Got to admit that WD40 is very good. I spray all my tools with it.

Lovely bronze colour. Wasn't there a pop group called WD40??

Of course Toto us men always like to keep our tools well lubricated.
Hehe Gee could you be thinking of UB40 ?

Dead right Bonkers. Wouldn't want them to go rusty, would we!
10 Jun, 2009
Aye particularly as we get older Toto sometimes we dont use them as much as we should ..really need to look after them as they say use them or lose them ..

Yes, didn't use the brain and now look although I am convinced that there is one grey cell, hanging by a very thin thread right at the back somewhere which keeps demanding that I supply it with liberal doses of alcohol. It's hard work but someone has to do it.

That about right Toto.......and you Bonkers...your not getting off Lubricate the inside as well as outside............
10 Jun, 2009
Well you re one up on me Toto if we had 2 brain cells together think how dangerous we could be ..
