I've planted one of these recently, looking forward to it growing like your's Louise. I have the yellow ones too, I like them but have to give them a hard pruning each year.

It's stunning, I bought the golden one this year, don't think it has flowers though.

My golden one doesnt have flowers yet Janey, will do soon hopefully :-)

They're good strong plants that put on a lot of growth each year.
Mine are planted there with bronze grasses and Heucheras.

Is this at home in a woodland setting?

I have this Louise, can't grow acers as in too windy a position, but think leaves on this are just as lovely.

I agree on both counts !!!
We both have windy gardens - mine gets south westerlies (not sure what yours gets), so not cold but still damaging and yes, the foliage is the next best thing from Acers !!!
