Never heard of Water Buttercups.Marsh marigold yes..

I've never heard of them either, but they are lovely.

Can be a bit confusing Deida as think Marsh marigolds known as water buttercups in US when plant neither a Marigold or a Buttercup.

Have single and double Marsh marigolds but this a freebie from a friend definite member of buttercup family but could have another name entirely !

At first I thought this Spearwort but friend says not and as in their pond seemed churlish to disagree ! lol

I have this Ray. When the leaves appear in the spring, you would never guess the plants would turn out to be like this would you.

No Dawn for weeks looks like leaf going to dominate everything and for a long time wondered what on earth I d been given.

It is Dawn .. the only birds that ll come close these days .
