Sparrow babies...soon to fly.

This is the old birdhouse that fell apart when I lowered it. Jacky's family probably.

Hi Jacque, hope you had a nice Easter... I know from personal experience that when they are newly fledged and about to fly...you can't keep them full! They are the most needfull creatures...I suffered sleep deprivation with Jacky and his sib... I bought worms for them at a bait store, I bought meal worms at the pet store, I dug up every space available in my garden looking for worms. At one point when they were very small, I tried baby cereal...it just glued their little beaks shut! Not easy washing birdy faces.
