Great design, and a lovely garden :)

The house faces east-north-east, so this is a lovely spot to sit in the mornings with a cup of tea and the paper, hummingbirds flipping past your ear - and it's a bit more sheltered from the breezes off the ocean. Usually the chairs are on the front porch, but I had moved this one down onto the front path to catch the sun later in the day. Sometimes it's difficult to know where to start with 'all that space', TT, but we sure appreciate the privacy up here.

What a beautiful view - you have certainly made a huge difference to this garden since you moved in.

Patrick has worked hard - he's very good with organizing and planning space. I like things a bit wilder, but that's what the other 5 acres are for!

Stunning job landscaping Elke, it looks as if it has been that way for years ! You have a large, magnifiscent space to let your creativity lose. With your living by the sea I bet you're probably in the same hardiness zone as I am, and can grow alot of warm climate plants that would make your neighbors 50 miles inland very jealous....lol.
