rose: great expectations

Stunning! What type of rose is it?

its called Great expectations it is a climber i have it on a trellis and it is has reached 7' i couldn't reach the top flowers to do a close up so that is one at the bottom of the panel it has divine perfume too i just love it

How cool! I have a climber that has grown to about that height, but the blooms are a pinkish yellow color. Here is a photo link:

it stays in bloom from july to sept or longer it is a lovely rose quite a big bloom and has been flowering without much attention here for 7 years i love it

It bloomed like crazy last summer, but this heat-wave of daily temperatures above 100 deg. has stunted the growth, despite regular watering.. :-(

aw poor your rose we on other hand have plenty of rain and just a few hot days - more than we have had for a while - but back to usual rain just now
did manage to deadhead between showers today
