Thanks all. I have another pic which I think shows the cast off skin of the lavae as well as the developing beetle. Should I post it? I don't want to bore everyone too much.

Obviously I don't think it's boring but I do get some very strange looks when I tell people what I've been looking at and photographing. It's not for everyone and I have to respect others points of view.
