Looks fab. Mine has been buried under lots of ground cover so I'm trying to revive it - cant even remember what colour its flowers are.

I got a new little one last year - it did survive the winter, but I don't think it's going to flower this year. It was called 'Green Shades' or something like that...red flowers with a definite hint of green in the petals.

Sounds nice Spritz - I'll look forward to seeing a photo in 2010. I love the blue ones - they are amazing.

If you've got a minute, Dawn, go to 'my garden' and page 5, scroll down to Hydrangea 'Green Shadow'...and there are two photos! No waiting until 2010! You'll see why I liked it so much...:-)
I am on the lookout for a good white one, now!

Just visited it Spritz - its great and I'm sure it has given your border some 'oomph' as you hoped. Caught a look at your gunnera on the way :-) I can't believe you have so many plants - I must take a look through them all when I get chance, wonderful stuff. Good luck sourcing a white one - I would guess they like your conditions.

The one last year was the very first one in the garden, Dawn! I do like them, so I'm adding them.
Thanks for taking the time to look - I can't wait for it to flower again! It did add 'oomph' when it had blooms on it! It's a bit pathetic now. :-(

Loved looking through your pics - I was looking for your rodgersia but couldnt see it :-(
Hope Green Shadow flowers for you soon - as passenger in the car today, I had chance to see all the beautiful hydrangeas in gardens but I didnt see one white one - but they are all very beautiful.

I haven't got a Rodgersia, Dawn - maybe that's why you couldn't find it!! LOL.
I haven't got room for another BIG plant like that! :-(
15 Jul, 2009
Oh right, lol., must be thinking of another of your plants that turns bronze in the autumn or maybe I've lost the plot.
15 Jul, 2009
?? Can't think of one??
15 Jul, 2009
Its Ok Spritz, you can say that I must have lost the plot, lol.
15 Jul, 2009
OK - 'Dawn, you've lost the plot!' LOL.
