Aww the poor thing, at least it will soon grow again and its more important to make sure they are cool in the hot weather!

PP im looking desperatly for a cat groomer so she can be groomed every week, she isnt keen on being done but is better with a stranger than me, she knows im soft and wont let me do under her or backside/legs

Awww, know what you mean, Smokey loves being brushed all over except is rear end, i can brush is tummy though, you know i dont know any cat groomers, but there is a doggy one on corner where i live, next time i go passed i'll go in and ask her if they can do it for her, they can only say yes or no can't they, plus she may know somewhere that cats can get groomed.

we used to have to do this with our old cat lucy, the noise she made people must of thought we were being wicked. So we used to taker her to a groomers, the noise would break your heart and she would ignor us for hours after hehe

aww jen,, well ive just got back from a groomer who does ,cats, carol(clarice) told me about,she is booked in on 28th and will go about every 6 weeks, it cost about £25 but worth it so she doesnt have to keep being sedated as she is getting older, so its worth every penny, if one of the so called men in this house would hold her i could quite happily do it myself lol men!
