Lovely little face, how did you get so close? We used to have what I think were field mice on our bird table at night and they used to let us quite close but I think they may have run off if I tried taking their photo.

Hi Dawn well..I think BB got a lot do with it..we don't exchange seeds or cuttings,we swop wildlife..looks if I am getting a lot of visitors from Yorkshire
lately.(lol)

I say poor little wood mouse :o( But that's what cats are supposed to do. I don't understand why nature has to be so cruel. - beautiful, but very cruel :o(

If any consolation Hywel they breed at an amazing rate and are able to reproduce from six weeks old ..favoured diet of barn owls and we wouldnt want to be without them so natures balance.

Great picture, just love Dormice I have them in my gaerden they wait gfor me each morning to put out the seed and nuts, so fast though they are here and gone in a flash!
