They havn't spread yet Michaella. I've got two that I grew from seed from my sisters garden, so next year I will see whether they are spreading.

mine didn't flower this year....and they never went that deep blue. Can I have some seed please? x

Oops sorry Sue. I didn't save any. I think the heads have all gone now. They turned brown after a time but the blue was very good for a while. I will check if any heads left.

Hello Eryngium36. Sorry I have no further details about my Eryngium. The seeds were given to me by a friend in UK, from her plant. All I can tell you is that it is a very tolerant plant. I live in Hungary and it survives both arctic conditions and long hot summer spells. It also is not fussy about position, some in sun and others in partial shade. It self seeds in a gentle way. Maybe you can identify from the Internet.
