Yes TT this only 2 years old and sending long side shoots out can be hard pruned to keep in shape.New leaves a bronze colour and after flowering produces black berries.Sadly does not have any fragance.

If only it had some fragrance but pretty quick at covering walls etc and makes a nice change .. certainly tougher than Clematis Armandii that gave up the ghost ..wimp.

BB ~
I'm still working on making a rooted Armandii for you ..
I have some hopefuls... it takes a while to know if they've taken root...

Very nice Ray/Jane. I thought I had an evergreen honeysuckle but not sure now I've seen yours.

Thanks TT....you are a star !
There are a few evergreen varieties Dawn so yours may be a different one !

That explains it Ray/Jane. The leaves on mine are darker and the flowers a bit insignificant but more like woodbine and quite bushy and rampant - its one my Dad set :-)

The old varieties are the best Dawn !

Well this one must be old, I cant remember it not being there :-)
