Thank you all. Your very kind. I'm watchingthe petunia get bigger and bigger and the image in my head just may come about!

The new steps are needing a little growing in and I've planted creeping phlox and dianthus along the edges. Looks like I wont see those bloom until next year perhaps.

Wow! Gt..it looks fabulous! I have the purple petunias too...they pack such a punch and Iove the scent...mmmmm. You have lots of pinks and purples...and I just saw the pics of your monarda!!

Thanks Fluff, Mike and Lori. I always have at least one of these blue petunias. I love them. The lighter one looks darker than I planned, but it all has a good contrast. I'm glad you all like them. On the steps, the smell washes across the whole garden, its wonderful. My reds are just coming in and yellow as well. The pink fireweed is lovely, but just about to go to seed, then...out with them.
