Thank you all. I can't take too much credit, I didn't know what I was getting until it bloomed. I do plan to overwinter the root though so I have it again next year.

Just lovely mamagem. I have this dwarf variety in this color and several other colors. Here they come back year after year. They put on quite a show.

GG you are lucky to have the climate where the dahlias can come again and again. I can dig the root up for the winter and have them again next year here. I will be doing that this year for sure.

I just love these collarette dahlias, actually, I love anything with bi-colored blooms. Who am I kidding, I love anything that blooms, period....lol. Welcome to GOY Mamagem, hope you enjoy your time here. There are tons of things to do, places to go and people to see !....;-)

I'm with you Flcrazy. I love it all too. I am really enjoying saving seeds and getting into seed swaps. I did a local swap today that I am excited about. It is a delicate little flower that is purple with an orange throat. I don't know what it is, but I really like it. I am loving GoY. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful.
