a beautiful lake district

went for a camp at lake wanaka in the south island of new zealand
there are several lakes there formed by receding glaciers of long past
the fauna there is sparce as most of the south island is in grass land or scrub in the east and dense rain forest in the west where all the rain comes to this area.
in the morning there was fog every where and my two pet leprechauns in their rowboat were wanting to have a row in the lake.
so early in the morning i took the radio controller(so they wont escape) and went down to the shore
well they ventured out and here they are in full speed
they made for a fog bank so i radioed them to come back in case they got lost
well a early rising gent from the camping ground was looking across the lake
and gazed out across the lake.
out of the fog bank at that moment came the two pet leprechauns and the gent stood as if transfixed and finally when he spotted me with the radio he said.
“begoora it st Patrick day and i thought i was first person to see real leprechauns in a hundred year”
sorry did not get pics of the fog

i am sure his hair was standing on end
the boat is about 1 meter long and the rowing mechanics are all hidden under the seats and the two figures look so real each one almost independent of each other and so real it has surprised many people in the 20 years i have had it
