As you say....lots of changes over the years....a garden is always evolving and it's interesting to see how our ideas change over time, Pixi.

Your astilbe is looking very pretty and standing proud in your photos....my astilbe is still very tiny and no flowers yet...love your shade of pink.

What a transformation lots of work gone into it but it looks a charming retreat now. Love your secret door.

Thanks Paul..the pond was a lot of hard work but worthit in the end I think..I got the slates from a building site free!
And someone donated the pebbles. Actually all I had to buy was the pump which is in the wee pond(tub) at the bottom of the rockery and pumps the water out through the urn which i got at a charity shop for 50p! :)
Thanks Whistonlass..the Astilbe is just about to flower again this year I like them and they last quite a while dont they..hope yours gets bigger.;.it will!
es Stroller its quite a transformation..wish I had taken pics from when I first moved here it was all overgrown about 4ft high weeds! so I'm quite pleased how its going. The next addtion is to be a sculpture of Rick..if it works out lol..watch this space! Thanks for your comments :)
