That's a pretty shade, Pixi and definitely complements the Jacob's,the scabious and the lychnis ( which appears violet in that shot).

Lol her's is a deep pink almost red colour, i'll never forget when a few years ago she said can i practice on yours dad so i said ok as you do ... and then went shopping still with it on and didn't realise till i was half way around the shop did i get some funny looks :-))))

I am envious of your nails Pixie. They are a lovely shape, no matter what the colour. Glass fusers nails are pretty awful, they are regularly cut off or burnt off! Sigh. Jx

i use d to have really long nails..once all my classes start back i will prolly have to cut them all down as they will break..modroc with kids class is the worst lol. thanks :))

Have you not tried surgical gloves ?
They are either vinyl or latex and they are like another skin , just peel off when job done , clean hands !

I've done those gloves too...my ex and I had a pottery for the best part of twenty years...and some of the glazes were heavy-metal toxic and/or leaching...

LoL!! I find a thick coating of silver nail polish hides all the dirt!!

So that's the secret,Lulu...I just keep them really short..and even with gloves on ,they still get black! Mind you,the gloves are more off than on :o)..so restricting !

I have some great gloves, next time I see them (in my car and it's raining!) I'll tell you what kind they are! Only take them off if my mobile rings!
