Very necessary! lolol I have to laugh at people when they say..'you dont need makeup!' Then they see me without mascara and say 'are you ill?' lolol I also have bad skin.well lots of blemishes prolly sunspots etc..so need a little foundation lol Call me vain if you like..but hey I do it for me!
