Over 20 years ago OH and I bought a little cutting from a beautiful open garden in Worcs Eastgrove Cottage (sadly no longer open)which cost us £7.50....the most expensive cutting we had ever bought, but it was worth every penny..........

Cinders not too difficult, we keep it outside all summer and then bring it in for the winter. Mot yes it is an Aeonium.

They are gorgeous , I love them , I hope mine survive the winter ... £7.50 was an awful lot of money 20 years ago ..you have made it pay for it's self several times with the cuttings you have taken off it Dd :o))

Janey this one has never flowered the green ones have.....Amy that is why I remember how much it was, at the time we thought we had been overcharged, we have only taken a few cuttings mainly for our daughter, who promptly lets it die........she is better with silk flowers lol

Cristina, if you look on the right side of the page under What Else it will usually tell you what the name of the plant is (providing it is growing in their garden) have added the name now for those that are new to the site, and your right it is a lovely colour, in the summer the whole plant is black even more spectacular.

Sandra the weather has been horrible so wet, and gale force winds too, but as you say it does keep the frost away.

Wow, fantastic. I have never had one of those, are they easy to look after Dotty, I think I might be tempted.
