Brahea armata - Mexican Blue Palms

Unfortunately, the sun was going down...as the days are getting shorter even here in San Diego. The silvery-blue fronds of the Mexican Blue palms are not very visible. Photo taken at Cuyamaca College Botanical Garden, El Cajon, Nov. 26, 2010.

Yes, it is a very beautiful palm. It's widely planted as a street or landscape tree here.
