They are rather nice Sheila....only started planting grasses this year - another attraction caused by GOY :)

Have you got an Anemanthele lessoniana yet Scottish?? Used to be called Stipa arundinacea, and is my favourite: tinted yellow, orange and red in autumn.

Cheers Paul.
I don't have any called Stipa yet Sheilabub. I have carex, uncinia and the black one. I can't remember how to spell it so won't embarass myself :)))))
I have 2 grasses that were kindly sent to me by Scotkat when I first joined GOY - which I will attempt to get identified when they get a little larger.
I'm hankering after one of those hakonechola golden grasses but can source them locally but don't like to shop online, as I've been disappointed before.
Oh...nearly forgot - I bought myself a couple of baby ones of these....I live in hope :)

I haven't managed to make the link work yet! They rarely do I find - but then I'm hopeless on computers. I love the Hakonechloa golden one too, and it is easy to divide (if you have a friend or neighbour with one??), and the plain green Hakonechloa is nice too.

Had a look at your pic Leigh - the stripes are slightly different. I don't have the other that Drc etc. are saying it is so I can't compare. Like you said - time will tell :))
