I love this tree. I've seen some good specimens up here, so it must be pretty tough. I saw a fabulous one in Harlow Carr a couple of years ago.

Amy they respond to hard pruning, (pollarding) by growing twice the size lol
Karen so do, I just fed up with waiting for it to get taller.

Stunning colour leaves Dd, and they have such beautiful flowers, is this the tree you've chosen to replace your Robinia? Just the same gorgeous colouring.....

Janey, it is growing in another part of the garden, we have not yet made a decision regarding the Robinia.........all will be revealed soon!!
