First flower of the year!
Rather pleased with it as it has been outdoors through all this cold weather.

Lots of buds forming, so the year may not be a total washout as far as this goes.............

Very nice M, mine has been out for a while but it has been in the warm.
19 Jul, 2012
This had a bit of a false start earlier this year, before the weather cooled down again.
19 Jul, 2012
It's looking good! I heard it's really starting to warm up there.
24 Jul, 2012
At long last - everything is dry now!
25 Jul, 2012
That's great! Maybe it'll stay dry and warm for a little while?
25 Jul, 2012
Too dry now!!!!
25 Jul, 2012
Wow! Never satisfied! You don't know what dry is...it's when you don't receive rain for 7 - 9 months!!!

Trouble is though that to grow something such as this it has to be in a pot to survive. So in this weather I'm constantly watering.

"So in this weather I'm constantly watering" Welcome to my world of watering every day and sometimes twice a day. :>)
My beautiful Croton in the front yard was growing beautifully. I've been watering it almost everyday...then I realized the tips were dying back. It was due to the roots not receiving the water. The ground is that hard and dry now.

It's a pain in the whotsit!!!
27 Jul, 2012
"whotsit" Is that a snack food? LOL! :>)
27 Jul, 2012
It is, or another term for the "ass"!!!
27 Jul, 2012
LOL! I knew what you meant...just never heard it worded like this before. It must be an English saying. :>)
28 Jul, 2012
It's a word us bumpkins use a lot Delonix!
28 Jul, 2012
I don't think I would consider you a bumpkin. The English tend to be far more sophisticated than that... :>)
28 Jul, 2012
Shucks! thought that I'd get you with that one!!
28 Jul, 2012
No, I'm a little smarter than that... LOL! :>)
