No leaves down there in the 'south' yet Mandy? Being originally from S.Yorks. Myself, it always makes me chuckle when the locals up here refer to the N.E.of England as 'The South' ;)

I haven't been round the side garden to check mine but I do have a lot more blossom on my Prunus this year.......The wind will soon sort that out though :o(

I know exactly what you mean Karen ! Its amazing, isn't it, one day no buds on anything and then a bit of sun and warmth and they all appear ! A lot of my leaves on the roses and on my new pear trees opened too early and got frosted, but new better leaves are appearing on these now!

Yes Paul, it is. You had a much harder winter than me, but yours will be here very soon!

Only one downside to this tree....it is the only thing, no, correction, one of only two things in the white shade garden which isn't white! It has double pink flowers. The other thing is a climbing rose..'A Shropshire Lad'. Both of them just to lovely to lose on account of their colour. And have been in for years.
