Thanks ! it does have a lovely smell Dawn , we should have pruned it more to give it a better shape it's getting a bit straggly .

The blooms make up the the straggly habit. Mine was straggly but now just kind of 'dead'.

I wouldn't attemp to prune it until at least autumn /winter Marguerite .. there's one very tall branch sticking out of the top much higher than the rest ,thats the one that needs to come off first when it's time ......
