You’ll love it Shirley. I’ve had two Daphnes for three years, and yesterday saw that at last one was in flower for the first time … so relieved!

we have one Shirley , it lost its leaves in cold but kept flowers , I hope it is alive still . pretty expensive but nice plants

Daphnes are delightful. My Daphne collina has doubled in size with plenty of buds.

I've had this one in the past and really liked it because of the perfume. We, too, were in the right place at the right time (for once) and picked up a daphne for a tenner when we were out last week, not this variety but I can't remember which one!

Ange, how strange that you should find a bargain Daphne too! I planted mine yesterday and it has been well and truly watered in today still raining now at nearly 5pm.
