Any reasonable, well drained soil, sun or shade, Nelke. There's a white one as well which is on my wish list.

These are nice Wagger. I have had one for many years. I have to keep digging some out as it spreads very well.

The white ones are always on my wish-list, too. But I´ve never seen anything else then Dicentra spectabilis. I´ll keep an eye!
