Beautiful photo....Amy you're right. It was only a very few years ago that I noticed an Ivy in flower...isn't it strange how we can miss beautiful things like that! I think it is just because of mindset...you know, 'Ivy is a boring evergreen' that kind of mindset....so you never really look properly at it!
